Hi
I bought a pair of LED spots from Schlowy a while back, and one spot died the other day (out of warranty). I eventually discovered that power was reaching the spot but there was nothing coming out the other end of the circuit board inside the spot.
I took a picture of the board but I don't have my memory card reader with me....
Basically it was a small coil and a small capacitor on one side, and what looks like three transistors of some sort on the other side. Simple red & black wires going in one end and out the other.
Any idea what this board is actually for? I tried just bypassing it but the LED shone more blue than white and warmed up very quickly, so I disconnected it. I thought the actual LEDs themselves were rated for 12v, but maybe not.
Anybody have a cheap replacement or MacGuyver solution for me?
