mentioned before that my starter was making a horrible noise. Hall of wisdom on ADVrider shows you how..got it sorted. Also set the TPS - also on Hall of wisdom. It's just the gear exposed that due to lack of lubrication, and dirt - does not allow it to disengage in time when the engine starts. I did not have to open up the starter really, biggest pain was just to get one of the bolts out.
Also change the end cap of the akro silencer to direct exhaust gasses away from number plate, as number plate vibrated..hated that. Had to pop rivet it on again. It works, worried about the left hand flicker a bit.
A amusing little thing..I ALSO suffered the throttle body cable getting stuck on the fitting there...wow...whata terrible noise. I thought the gearbox suddenly started giving problems, erratic idling, back firing...luckily I saw it in the end.
