I just spoke to Dik Geluk and apparently Heinrich Herbst aka heinrichh, Mr overall died this morning of cancer.
Heinrich became ill last year on the Cairo to Cape tour and it was discovered he had stomach cancer.
He was very ill at the end of 2012 and start 2013, but got better. The last time he visited Stonehenge in the Tankwa was 3 weeks ago.
Heinrich was quiet on the forum, but known to many of us - and a great riding partner and fun person to have at a get together
The last time I saw him was on Kasteelberg in 2012 for a skaapkop day that Riebeeker organised.
My thoughts are with his 2 sons and all those to whom he was close.
