that road he got lost on is the longest road in South Africa without any towns, about 300km (180 miles) before you reach Calvinia

Perhaps I was misunderstood :biggrin:  Nimmo's english is pretty decent and he had me hooked wondering what happened to KH. 

When riding in a group, normally one is responsible for the person behind him, so it was shocking to read a member of the group was such a distance ahead of his group without never having turned around to go back. :lol8:  I don't care if the road was 3,000 km or 20 km in length, one is supposed to look over their shoulder every few minutes.  I was glad to read KH was okay.

The state of our roads do not allow time for a look over your shoulder, but then again on that road you will see each other for about 30km :biggrin:
