Yesterday I start my 990 and the Oil Light does not go off. Being an old Dog I peep down and see the water level is low and I know that if that is the Case then the Oil Level must be high. I check the oil level and guess what.
I had a 950 that had the same problem with 20000 km on the Clock but I was much greener then so I just kept on filling with Coolant until the Bitch started smoking and KTM had to redo the Motor under Guarantee. Then I bought the 990 and it seems old Habits die hard. What is wrong with the Engineers in Austria that they can't sort this frigging Seal on the Waterpump out that goes on so many LC 8's?
I can handle the extra expense but my Riding Buddies ridicule really hurts. Fark them and their BMW'S. :peepwall:
PS the Bike has 40000 km on the Clock.
