Hi guys, Thanks to all the RR on the forum, I feel obliged to write one myself.  This is my first RR, any critic are seen positively...  :thumleft:

The crew were as followed:  Stefan and myself from Ermelo and rode to Bethlehem via Secunda. I had to buy a new pair of boots...
Wynand and Willie left from Bethal to Bethlehem
Willem and Heidi left from Carltonville to Bethlehem
Martin (MOLT3N) and Corlia left from Kathu to Kimberley joined us at Ladybrand
Aubrey and Valerie left from Kimberley and joined us at Ladybrand.

We wanted to do as much gravel possible, if we had to push we did more tar.  I think the ratio tar to gravel was about 50:50.

The first few photos were taken before MOLT3N and Aubrey joined the group.  I hope that MOLT3N will also add his share of pics...  :peepwall: :pot:

IMG_1731 is a photo of Taxi berg...  It is on the gravel road between Bethelehem and Clarens. Not sure how many of you have ridden that road and noticed this mountain?  Though I would put it out there...

IMG_1740 is the whole crew that joined the group...

Definately worth doing! I would suggest to take more than 3 days to do it thought...  It is very far to ride, some sections are technical, other are just time consuming. Next time I would like to spend a little more time at Rhodes...

Some great photos there jackol!

There is still a lot of stories to share around this little trip we did, I just need to sort out some pics and then I will start writing or start a new thread, seeing Jackol's pics sommer makes me want to go back.

Watch this space for more on a non conventional cruiser!, a yammie almost pushed over a cliff by a bakkie!, a 800 beating a 1200 on tar!, the harshroads getting the best of a bike and some more...!

Well done guys enjoyed the photos. Keep it up.   :ricky:

Lekka RR, thanks for sharing!

Those passes remain spectacular.

Pete

Hi guys, I am not a very keen writer and leave photos to tell the stories, if you want to see more view MOLT3N report as well, he wrote some more detail on the stories as well. Here goes the link

https://wilddog.net.za/forum/index.php?topic=148044.0;topicseen

We were a very nice group that left each rider to ride inside his own comfort zone, which really meant a lot to me.  The spirits were high and we enjoyed each others company.
