Pack Dog
Hi all,
I have just had my 2004 Dakar serviced (60k km). Took it on my first ride since service today and it died about 30km into it. The bike stalled as I pulled off from a stop street, and would then battle to start. Once started it can idle for a few seconds and then the engine dies. If I twist the throttle at all it dies quicker. Thankfully Outsurance sorted a tow home pretty quickly 8)
What could the problem be in your experience?
I had as part of the service these tasks completed;
1. Replaced the battery
2. New fuel (bike had stood a month or 2)
3. Replaced the grips
4. Washable airfilter fitted
I of course will give the mechanic a call in the morning to get it sent back in but wanted to see if it is something simple that I can attempt to have a look at.
Thanks in advance for any advice and tips!
Andrew
