I am new on the forum and am looking at buying a bike again. I had a KLR 650 for a short while but sold it about 7 years ago and haven't ridden since. I am looking at buying a bike again and have looked at the XT 660 and the KTM 690 and the F650gs, but I am really keen on buying a F800gs. I will use the bike for a bit of commuting (not everyday) and touring, like Baviaanskloof etc.
I would like to get some opinions on whether the 800gs is the right bike to go for or if I should look at something else. I don't have a lot of experience with riding bikes so I want to make sure I get something I can handle.
