Hopefully most of you will be aware of this dangerous situation, but I've seen two accidents happen in this way this year, so maybe a warning to the newer riders.
What happens is this. It's peak hour traffic and the cages are standing still. You on your bike is riding next to the cages, having a laugh at them. What you don't realize is that a person on the left hand side of the road want's to turn right. What happens is that someone up front stops and gives him a gap. The cage takes the gap, does not see you approaching and you then T - bone the cage. Ouch.
What to watch out for - a gap in the traffic. Ride slow enough to be able to stop if such a gap opens up, and then check for traffic once you get to the gap.
