I’ve got a question regarding the F800GS:
I collected my new F800GS last week Friday. I noticed almost straight away that there seemed to be what I believed to be a rattle coming somewhere from the front of the bike. The rattle only seemed to occur when traveling over uneven/rough surfaces. I took the bike back to BMW on Saturday and was told it’s the floating front discs that are making the noise. When I had a ride on the demo F800GS they had a week earlier I didn’t notice the noise. Since being told it’s the discs I have noticed while riding on a rough surface the rattle goes away if you apply the front break – what BMW now makes sense? However, I find the noise very irritating and how can BMW produce a bike where the discs continuously make a rattling noise? Is there something I can do to remedy this? Thanks :ricky:
