Took a trip to Autozone this morning.
Purchased 2 x ball joint boots for the princely price of R19.95

Here is the damaged original
Cut the new one as per DF's instructions
This is what it looks like before fitting with the bush in place

And the final product
The boot is wider than the original, and does run against the "A" frame, so I will keep
an eye on it.
