I need some advice for my dad. My dad rides the 800GS and he feels that the throttle is too sensitive and when riding very slow or maybe technical and the throttle twists only a little bit the bike "jumps" or "jerks" forward. He's heard from other 800GS owners that also complain about this. What can he do to better this? Someone told him to maybe fit a cruise control and tighten it when throttle is closed. This will make the throttle a bit harder to twist apparently and help a bit. Any truth to this? Also, what about changing sprocket sizes? Maybe going one tooth down at the front to make it stronger and then use second gear when riding slow?

Any advice?
