So on way home yesterday ol' faithful out of the blue threw a FI code on dash, gave a momentary stutter but kept on riding although could feel a roughness on idle and pull was a bit down on throttle. Must say I saw a marked increase in fuel consumption the previous week from normal so something must have been up in the background....

I did what any 990 owner would do and plugged in TuneEcu as guesswork gets you nowhere and got 2 x fault codes for MAP sensor (P1105/P0108). It might just be clogged/dirty or damaged as the bike now has just passed 80,000km and still runs sweetly (until now)!

I did attempt to just erase the error codes but they keep returning, so no way Jose on that one lol....

So the question as I have not looked yet, but has anyone changed the MAP sensor before, and where is it located exactly (thinking it must be under the airbox on the throttle body)?

Thanks chaps.
