I'm running a larger carb than standard on a 2t motor. Carb mounts directly to the crankcase. It's an autolube setup.

Because of the larger carb, I couldn't run a wheel hugger - the filter is exposed to all the kak thrown up by the back tyre and, as is the wont with 2t, the blowback lubricates the tyre quite well.....

The carb needs to be lifted about 10mm to allow the hugger to fit. If I lift the carb with a spacer, would there be any adverse affects? I would think that intake velocity would probably increase a little, but can't see that being a problem? Autolube should continue operating at the same ratio......

Any wisdom appreciated.
