I'm arranging a day ride starting at Engen one stop Mossel Bay.
Those of you who have brought your bikes on holiday as well as locals are welcome to do the ride with me.
Route:
from Engen we do a circle of gravel halfway to Herbertsdale.
From Herbertsdale we hit gravel over Cloetes Pass to cross the Gouritz.
Onto Vanwyksdorp for lunch and then dirt to Ladismith for a drink at Koedoeskloof.
Tar the rest of the way via Huisrivierpass , Calitzdorp, Volmoed and Robinsons Pass back to Mossel Bay.
OR, on the way back at Calitzdorp go over Rooiberg Pass back to Vanwyksdorp and the same way home via Herbertsdale.
Easy ride. Take water. It will be hot.
