I did the same on my Fiance's XT660R. I found that once we tampered with the shock the bike would snake quite a bit more than ussuall when going above 120km/h. Not 100%  why. Try look around if the can't make some lowering links for you like they do for the XR650L ect. :thumleft:

If you don't mind, I'd like to see what the opinions are here. :3some: :sip: I had a 800GS and loved the bike. For me it was the perfect all round bike. i could do a fair amount of playing with it, I could carry a pillion and did for up to 1000km in a day like a breeze and Sani pass was a speed...

Waht Ganjora said is what I would do. Bots is fairly big and there is plenty to see. Don't do massive distances but move onto as many towns as posible. :thumleft: .......and take photo's to show us what you got upto :thumleft: :thumleft: :ricky:
