Thanks bud I thought they would work. I use them too as I felt the MX socks were not doing the thing for me. I also like the idea of a thin top for the socks as this would help with cooling. We do add special yarns in at certain places to keep the socks from falling down so this would work there...

I am not gay but I would prefer a sock that will not chafe when I am wearing knee guards, therfore need it to be longer then ski socks. I also do not walk around in my underwear with long socks-- Thats gay :laughing4:

Jacko, these are my socks too. I just believe I can make something better suited to our type of riding, here in sunny SA. Price will be a big issue as I know it will not cost what I pay now for MX/Enduro socks.

Yip that is my socks. Thanks guys for all the info. I will let you know first when they are ready. It looks like it will be an extra long sock with moisture wicking, padding as well as a shorter sock with the same and a preventative pad for slipping down as well as inside boot pad.

Yip that's probably our socks. Cape Union mark,Outdoor w/house, Sportsmans and rapid sports etc. We have some that are made from bamboo fibers mixed with special moisture wicking yarns that keep your feet dryer and the bamboo helps them not to stink too. Some MX socks are R300 pair. Come on...
