    That's an incredibly crappy fix. The exhaust cam oil feed is blocked. Hell you won't even be able to fit the valve springs and buckets past this "repair".

    The issue with hte particular year model is it's either a 2007 KL650A aka "Fugly" or it's a 2002 or earlier KL650C which was imported used in 2007.     I have a 2008 assembled and complete with everything valves, springs, cams, buckets, valve cover even valve clearances adjusted. It will fit the 2013 without any issues (mechanically identical) but it's the older dark grey colour. R12,000 not neg.

    Complete bullshit. People read comments like this and loctite phillips body panel screwws ::) The only thing I ever had falling off any of my eight KLR's was a header heat shield which had cracked at some 120,000km. All the Loctite in the world would not have prevented it.
