Went to Castleburn Holiday resort between Christmas and New Year. My Missus went up in the car and I took the bike. Nothing to do for a week but Trout fish, relax, ride in the moutains, relax, Trout fish, Ride in the mountains,.... You get the picture.  :D Here are a few pics from the ride up...

OK, seriously.... If its raining, I won't be riding... OK? I will leave Yellowwood Park at 10:30 and meet anyone at the Bp on the Inanda road just leaving Hillcrest at about 11am. The plan is to ride down into the Inanda Valley and explore some of the best rural roads available. See you there.

Hi Badger I was thinking of the one just as you are leaving Hillcrest on the Inanda road. Not too sure what Garage it is, but there is a very small shopping center there as well. I would have just passed the Christians Center coming into Hillcrest and turned right onto the Waterfall road. Its...

As mentioned in my first post, I was planning on exploring a bit. Don't know the area too well, but happy to ride around finding out a bit more about it. If anyone has past experience of a route please feel free to shout. Maybe meet at the Garage on the Inanda road in Hillcrest at 11:00 am?

Anyone wanting to do a short ride on Sunday? Perhaps down in Inanda Valley. Am Cycling early in the morning, so am thinking about a short ride from about 10:30 exploring Inanda. Possibly back by about 16:00.

Can't comment on a 1200GS, but just purchased a Tenere, and am very happy with it. Sits comfortably at 140. Engine vibration is not the same as the older "thumpers". Hope this helps.
