They were just fall overs but one was at a  bit of speed and the bike got hurt. But now it's fixed. Welded up the spot bracket, made up a new plastic bracket the chain guard. The rest was just loosen and straighten. The DR650 is low tech just needs a shifting spanner and a hammer to fix. ;)...

Yes you do at the SA border post, the road is okay up to this point. There is nothing on the Lesotho side which can sometime make it difficult getting out again if you run into an official with an attitude.

Early morning leaving the farm heading to Ongeluks Nek. And that is all he wrote. I am off to start fixing my bent DR650.

Both nights were cloud free so we were treated to some great night skies. Here is the best I could do with my Canon GX1 with it's max of 8 second exposure.
