my trusty honda bushlander is in for a service.. the mechanic found that the swingarm assembly at the bottom of the rear shock is worn... seems they cannot source the cush and the needle bearings needed. is there a non oem source in SA that somebody can help with please. see the attached image...

The clever guys out there on the forum, and there are many, explain something to me please. Most dirt bikes have different sizes front are rear wheel diameter... some say bigger front helps tracking and smaller rear is better for transfer of power.. but then different makes seem to swop it...

my bike mechanic tells me that the seat in my carburetor cannot be replaced, it is pressed and sealed into place. Only the needle can be replaced. I am told the flooding is being caused by fuel passing between the seat and the body. The solution is a 8k new carburetor. surely there must be...

now that they have killed the Suzuki Dr 650 .... what is it going to be replaced with by Suzuki ? has it been discontinued internationally ? surely all the thumpers fall foul of the emissions or what ever issue there was ? does anybody know ?

any dog can recommend an overnight farm stay btw swellendam and tankwa national park. ideally a good place for family. somewhere more or less halfway to tankwa or closer to tankwa then swellendam. thanks

having just got back from a short visit to the klein Karoo I noticed that it seems to becoming more common in finding some of the small tertiary roads are having gates put up, stopping you from continuing. years ago the normal practise is leave them as you find them...so if they were open leave...
