quite correct cloudgazer - both vids. are quite different. cosmic trip is neither a documentary nor a ride report, neither is it a music video. posting it on the riders forum was an after thought. i originally edited it for me and my 2 friends, as a souvenir of our lekker trip - no backup film...

I think that during editing one has to be brutal with deciding which shots to use. it has to be short and punchy. rather have a short good report than an long OK report. for cosmic trip i had to be really strict as there was so much else i could have added, but i knew it could get langdraadig...

it is not easy making a good bike video on your own. its bloody hard work. WELL DONE Camel Man!!! - It is sooo great to see people making video's for ride reports tho. i initially never bothered watching / posting  video's as i was connected with telkom and had bandwidth and download speed...

Thanks man ... We were very lucky to have Anthony with us filming. Warren and I tried to convince him to come pillion, but he insisted going in his own car. (he is not a biker). That is how we got all those cool shots of us riding. My camera was attached to my bike and then i would also shoot...

thanks for all the nice comments guys. cloudgazer - you are right about video becoming more popular as bandwidth gets faster etc. - i think there should be a new thread for video ride reports
