Hey all!
Yes as has been said - what a blast!!!! I really had a fantastic time and I had some good laughs too
Well done to the organisers and all the helpers - without your this could not be possible :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:
The route was truly amazing and a nice mix of technical and open sections. I appreciate ALL the effort that it took to get that right - no mean feat.
I think that The organisers did a fantastic job of creating an intro into Rally racing...from the planning, equipment, support and talk to the hard work on bikes the night before... Rally riding is something you can talk about and discuss till you are blue in the face, but nothing comes close to you, your Bike, your road-book and the tricks your mind can play. 1000 Hills Rally gave a bunch of guys that taste of what its really like.
The navigation in one or 2 sections was pretty challenging. The rest was perfect and could be managed at speed.
The riders were a bunch of great characters. Not one complaint, not any frowns, just laughs and excitement - well done to all!
Special mention (on the rider front) must got to:
Glen - I've ridden with you once before and you are a true inspiration.
Dave - Well done bud - you showed true grit and determination - exactly what rally requires - Imagine how you would fair with some non-road-tyres!
Airheadsmile - for taking it on with inappropriate equipment and making it your bitch....hope that clutch repair is not too much hassel

Thanks again guys...and lets get to planning the next one please! I'm there like...braaaaaaaaaaap
