Husky Boy
Pack Dog
:deal: This is not really a Ride Report...it's more like a Buy-Report!
After some searching, i finally found "the one"! *Thank you LouwXR :thumleft: She's hot, sexy, always keen and she comes with a manual!!! It's my "brand new" Honda XR400R, 2003 Model with just over 11000km's on the clock! She comes from the big city of JHB, but after many email conversations, she sounded pretty excited about the fact that she'll become a humble farm-girl...saying goodbye to traffic jams, shopping malls and high heals...
So, she took the FND Courier Trailer to Sedgefield, first class ticket and Francois handed me my beauty safely in my arms at about 8:45am on Saturday, June the 5th! I live in Rheenendal, it's pretty much in the middle of Knysna and Sedgefield and this is how the story goes!
Jaco (RCerrie) arrives at my house with his pretty blue lass, Yamaha XT600E...to come and pick me up for the big day ahead!
Tadako & me thanking Jaco for actually showing up...Jaco was 5min late!! ot:
But first things first! A Quick Cup!
Service Exellence...Francois, the man behind FND Couriers, handing me my goodies!
Then finally, the moment i've been waiting for!!!!!!!
We left for "Sedge-View" paragliding site...for a better view!
RCe couldn't keep his hands off her!!!
But i'm much stronger!!!
I reminded him of his own lady standing all alone!!!
We left for the Wild Oats Market for a quick breakfast!
We then took the dirt road that leads to Rondevlei/Hoekville and Wilderness!
Jaco getting creative...
What a beautiful morning!
Paying my respects to my Uncle, Bismarck, who made sure the girl got on the right bus with all her bags! Thanks again Bis...for letting her go!!! (He's a total womanizer!! :mwink
Heading back towards Karatara...
...and so were they!
...there's no McDonalds here, so we keep it pure!
The Hoogekraal low-water bridge!
Looking down towards the bridge!
From here we left for Blackwaters, and this is what it looks like before you get there...
...the N2 just below...
From here we went back home to Howling Huskies!!!
....and my wife finally got to meet her as well!!!
Happy Family!!!!
Just to round it off...i took her for a quick spin down the Homtini Pass, which is literally down the road from me...took her to a spot where we could hear the birds sing and just chill in each others' presence, for the dream has come true!!! I'm looking forward to many adventures with her!!! peace! O0
