Hi all you boys en maybe some girls.
I replaced the shocks on my non-Adv GS with adv shocks, so stands quite tall now. The side stand is also quite worn so on the sidestand it leans over to far, I really struggle to get it up. I'm getting ready for a trip with camping gear etc, so I need a longer side stand. Anybody got one lying around unused?
The centre stand is also to short, both wheels touch the ground, sometimes I'm not at ease with it because it's not nice and stable. So I'm also looking for that.
I've been to Acme, but no luck now. They might get in Tuesday next week.
The bracket for the adv seems to bring the centre stand a little more forward, otherwise it will bump the paralever. Also, just to extend the side stand will make it touch the centre stand.
If I can't get hold of other stands, what modification can I do to these I've got?
