1150 GS Wiring smoked

My bike started last week again cutting out while riding, but then come on again.  This morning it did it again.  When I fiddled with the wires at the ignition key smoked came out from the box under the fuses.  The console lights still come on, not the headlights and the starter doesn't turn.   

I don't have time to fix it now. 

I couldn't get the smoke back in.
