I had a look at the power plug on Xerys's 1150 yesterday, it bad 'blue' copper corrosion like you often see on battery terminals inside. Gave it a proper clean with contact cleaner. The plug at the back also had same corrosion, removed and cleaned that as well. Might have lead to a short/current leak and hence flat battery.
