As a matter of interest I took my 2008 Adv to a weigh bridge.
Bike had about 5L of fuel in the tank
No pannier or rear racks fitted
No screen
No spotlights
Side crashbars replaced with the Rockfox ones.
Only the rider seat
Alu carrier plate where the pillion seat goes.
Akrapovic rear silencer
BMW Enduro (Alu) bashplate
Garmin Montana with Touratech Bracket
Touratech Extreme Shocks
Standard set of tools
I can possible shave another 5kg from her by doing a Lithium battery and titanium headers, but the marginal utility will be very low.
Interesting to note that BMW says the bike is 256kg with 30L of fuel with no extra's fitted. Pretty sure they were lying but ja, not a scientific study on my part so who I am I to question the validity of their findings.
