This is bike was standing in garage in Graaff-Reinet for many years. Just below 44 000km on clock. After flushing and servicing we found head gasket were both seeping antifreeze which caused it to blow water vapour for few minutes after starting. Heads were skimmed and she is now running again. Carb's was synced and battery was also replaced. I'm battling to get the the carb's sorted. She starts easily but when riding back fires and powerless. Rear air suspension is working but air in front suspension does not stay. Got seals but yet to get them installed. Would love to keep this bike as the condition is really nice but after back got fused i'm struggling to handle her. i've got roughly R29 k in it at the moment and if any of you dogs would like to carry on what i started make me an offer.
The plastic lenses and cluster are in perfect conditions. You usually find them faded and cracked. Paint is hardly faded but the gold pinstripe on front fender seems to be liftings. Check lights for rear air supension is working perfectly. Coolings system works perfectly all guages, horns, two note indicators and lights functional. Leeking front supension bottoms out when all the air has escaped. Still a lot of polishing to be done on the chrome and aluminium.
