After much consideration I decided on selling and look either to sell my XT600 or swap for a XR600.
1984 XT600 Tenere. In a very good condition. Not a complete bolt and nut restoration as the condition I got it in was satisfactory.Starts with minimal effort and a nice commuter.
Here is what I have done and replaced:
Powerdercoated frame
New carb (have a spare)
Valve stem seals and all gaskets, o-rings replaced.
Piston/Rings in spec
Valve clearance set
Timing set
Painted motor to spec
All cables lubed and tested
Fork seals/oil done
All bearings lubed and checked
Repainted tank/sidecovers with OEM decals
All electrics work
Aftermarket Silencer
32 000km's genuine
