So, I was given this old bike as a present to restore for next year's VMX racing.
Unfortunately, I forgot to take any pics before I stripped but will start to post as I do the build
It's an 86' C1 model - aircooled with the strange uni-trak suspension.
BUT, it's missing some major components that I'd like to source before I start the big spend. If you've got any of the following lying around, please let me know.
Complete rear shock
Complete carb or just the throttle body lid
front brake caliper, hose and master cylinder - all of it
A complete front wheel would be nice
headlight and fairing and brackets
speedo and cable
parts from the 83 - 88 seem compatible but the newer water-cooled models are quite different
I'm ready for sandblasting and powder coating but am reluctant to start until I find a shock - that's the biggie
