After I finished my KTM380, I started working on my CR500.
When I first got it, all the fundamentals were there, a decent motor with a new top end, but the rest of the bike needed a good clean up.
So to pieces it went, the suspension got a full rebuild, so too the brakes, frame was rebuilt, including new footpegs tags and pins.
Bunch of worn parts were either replaced, like the Kickstarter, or repaired like the rear brake lever to take out any free play.
A whole lot of new nuts and bolts, new controls inc cables, modern Yamaha clutch lever and perch which transformed the clutch pull.
New clutch plates, new exhaust system , mounts and brackets.
And of course, a fair bit of bling bits which you will see in the pics.

So here come some pics
