I’m selling my 1998 Dr350se.
I bought the bike with the intention of having a light adventure bike, something to commute with, and a project to restore. But I don’t have the patience I thought I had. And added to that I’m wanting a bigger bike now.
The bike runs and used on my daily work commute. It’s an old bike and likes oil.
The bike has recently been serviced, had all the engine seals redone and had a cracked rocker repaired.
The mileage is unknown, when I bought the bike it had an aftermarket cluster fitted. But I have managed to find an original cluster for it, I’ve also ordered an OEM Speedo cable and the cable guides for when the original cluster is installed.
I’ve also replaced the coil ignition. I had a sparking issue at one point and thought was the coil ignition but it wasn’t that, just a wiring issue. So have the old one still and it will be included. The cluster also comes with a spare ignition and key.
Also have some carb spares for it.
The front shocks were redone by previous owner and the seat recovered. Also has an LED front light installed.
It’s road legal and licensed until March 2024.
I’m based in Roodepoort, Gauteng.
I’m looking for R25000 for it.
Would also be a great donor bike for DR350 owner’s to keep their trusty steads running for many more year to come.
