Hi everyone,
I’m seriously considering trading-in my current ride, for an old-school bike. We live in a remote village, about 42km outside of Grahamstown with 25-30km of gravel road in both directions into the village. Only the remaining few km’s into town, is tarred road. There is a plethora of other gravel roads around us to explore .
I won’t be touring anymore due to commitments at home, but want something that is a work horse when I do get the chance of riding, and, I want it to become part of my coffee shop branding.
My question is this; do you all have other rides as your main ride, or just your trusty AT? What should I ask a seller of such an old-school model about the bike, as I’ve never owned an AT before and what are the most common issues?
Thanks in advance for your honesty and advice.
