2 x 2007 KLR's at Helderberg Kawasaki

A friend is looking at buying a KLR for both himself and his wife.
Apparently there's 2 X 2007 KLR available at Kawa Helderberg (second hand).

One is a demo model - just over 1000k's on the clock
Another bought by a guy who did one weekentrip and traded it back on something else. Has less than 2000k's on.

Both bikes stock. Going for R39k a piece.

Any opinion on whether this is a good buy?
If he take both would he be able to press for a better price and what is acceptable?
Or would it be better to negotiate for gear on top?
And what (if any) has the experience with Helderberg Kawa been?
