20 000Km Service F650 GS

So i have read alot about the servicing of the Gs on here, and how BM robs us all, my time has come to do the 20K service. Is it worth just doing it myself at home or will this cause trouble when trying to sell cause of no stamp in the book, or should it just be sent in to get the basic part of the service done, excuding brakes , chains ect? Thanks Guys.
