The bike starts first kick but not with the happy button. Battery is in good nick and the starter swings free and like it’s always done. The bike also floods or stalls when you open the throttle to quick (never did it before). It also doesn’t idle to well at times. Other than mentioned the bike goes well just no fun doing technical stuff with no happy button and a flat spot.
I have just done the valves, head and rings. The bike had the problem before I had work done. Was told by the mechanics that they have never seen valves in such a bad state, I was hoping this would help the starting problem. I also had front suspension re done (re-chromed etc.).
So is there something I can try and check before I take it in? It’s becoming a rather costly project considering the bikes age and what they sell for.
