• This motorcycle was prepared by Rally-Raid UK for Tom Classen for the 2008 Dakar Rally. Tom Classen finished 19th in the 2007 Dakar, riding the older, KTM 660 RFR.
• The 2008 Dakar Rally was the last to be held on the African continent and was cancelled the evening before the race was to commence.
• This motorcycle was repatriated to SA and sold via Pro-Action to new owner who used it in the 2011 Amageza Rally (total race time approximately 3-days).
• Current owner acquired it in 2014 and has used it for limited adventure riding.
• All markings still part of original 2008 Dakar Scrutineering.
