2010 EC Regional Wild Dog Bash – Official Thread
A regional bash is to be held on the weekend of 18, 19 and 20 of June 2010.

Notes:
Some relevant information
It is a request from the owner that persons attending the Bash must please respect the relevant rules regarding travelling within the game reserve and to endeavour not harm the environment in any way. These rules will be posted once finalised.

Notes:
- I will be running point on this one and get it organised.
- I will also maintain the first few posts on the thread so that all updated info can be obtained there. For example, the participation list as the second entry to this thread.
- Cognisance should be taken that it may get very cold at night in June - proper clothing would be required!
- A superb section near the Lodge buildings has been set aside for camping. There are enough space for lots of dogs!
- Bashers will also be able to utilise the accommodation provided at the Lodge, but must book and organise by themselves. This can be done by visiting NDuNA Game Lodge - enquiries or by phoning +27 (0) 46 653 0501. If you select this 'soft option' the relevant additional fees will be for your own account. However, if you stay for both the Friday and Saturday nights in a lodge room, a R100 cash reimbursement will be given at the Bash to those that selected to stay in the lodge rooms.
- A "Red" route will be set out on the reserve for the more technical minded dogs (see last set of photos below)
- Costs: R350 pp - Finances
- Closing date for payments: Monday 14 June 2010 @ 24h00
Some relevant information
- Nearest medical doctor – Kenton-on-Sea.
- Nearest hospital - Port Alfred
- Nearest fuel - Alexandria.
- Nearest shop - Alexandria.
- A 4x4 bakkie and trailer will be on-site as support/recovery vehicle.
- Proposed outride routes and relevant maps are provide below.
- There is cell phone reception.
- Although not necessary, it is suggested that your bring your own eating tools and a mug.
