Thanks dogs for an outstanding weekend, I did enjoy myself thoroughly, in spite of an unnecessary off on Saturday. Thanks again Chicco for organizing everything.

Fast asleep, I overshot a corner and lost the front end on the wet grass. I had a nice slide until the foot peg bracket caught onto the gravel road and brought us to a stop.It bent upwards, resulting in the subframe being twisted. I was really lucky that the brake fluid bottle didn't break. The crash bars also bent towards the engine, but no plastics got damaged. SW Motech bars are the best!
The handlebars, mirror and front brake lever just shifted with no damage. Gunda was so nice to straighten the foot brake lever for me. The centrestand is also slightly bent. There a few new scratches on the swingarm as well.

I walked away only with a bruise just below the hip.

My pics are mostly copies of those already posted, but here are a few anyway

I can do that !

Lilani is nicer once it starts to get a little colder and drier. When it's been raining too much the water is not as warm - dilution of heat.

Ek sal my dagboek na gaan.Sal net n ompad moet ry of miskien julle ontmoet daar by die kus.

A week later...

I will get my bike back next week

GG that video is well done. Not to bad for old bugger like you now you can teach me but my mother always said I am a bit slow but not stupid.

Did they say why did it happen? Must say it does not do anything for the Tenere's name. I think a KTM will make you SMILE
