I am planning a 3 week trip through Mozambique. Just at the sound of this, my family jumped on the band wagon and said: "Were in!" But the fact of the matter was that there is now wagon to jump on. To go where I wanna go, we'll need a decent 4x4 and nobody who I know owns one.
So I started looking at renting a Land Rover (or something similar) as backup vehicle and transport for the non-bikers on the trip but it looks like the cheapest I can get is around R900 a day. So if the trip is 24 days long, thats R21900.
For that price I can almost buy a car!
Any bright ideas? What have other dogs done to solve similar problems?
