I am looking at getting new tyres (old metzelers tourance) I want to get 50/50's as I'll be doing more gravel/trail riding with some mud thrown in and long tar sections in between. What I have been looking at are the Heidi's Scout K60's, Mitas E07 or E10, Pirelli MT60 / MT90/AT and the Metzelers (not sure which one however). I have been trying to research them all but I'm unable to find good comparisons. How good are 50/50 tires on tar and in wet weather? What tire will give me the best on-road performance (I like to throw it around a corner or three) with great off-road performance (ditto)? I will most likely be travelling with full camping gear and like to tour with speeds up to 160kph.
