It's not that difficult but you need some tools for this job. if you do not know how to take off the forks, then this is not for you. That's why I am not going to post pictures how to get to the point of stripping and reassembly. Better take it to one of the forum spanners they are not that expensive in the first place, and it's a bit off a messy job with all the grease.
It's also not so you can be a cheap ass KLR rider, but sometimes a man must get some grease on the fingers to feel we still men.

Needing two bearing : 320 / 28x think it cost around R200 for both.

Start here:

Then loosen the top nut, and and remove the top triple clamp..

This hex nut was tightened at 65nm so it takes a bit of ooomph to get it to go.

Loosen the front nose piece before you take the adjustment nut off the triple clamp.

Hold onto the bottom part as you loosen the top clamp the bottom will take your feet off when it fall.  ;)

Use something sturdy to knock out the top bearing with a thin punch, not too much power otherwise you will f-up the dust cover, it can be used again if you hammer it flat again.

Then do the same with the bottom clamp assembly.

Finally hammer out the bottom and top bearing rings with a long iron rod. Work slowly and around the ring so you punch it out evenly.
