I got my bike in 2016, and immediately spaced out the rear brake ABS sensor, disabling the whole system.
This has worked 100% until about a year ago, when I would find the rear brake pedal rock hard, with zero braking, every 5 out of 10 tries.
This did not bother me much, but over the last week, particularly descending the rear entry into Baviaans over plenty loose rock at a steep decline, when applying the rear brake, the front would be
disabled continuously by the ABS system, and the bike would start running away.
I very quickly figured that the front brake works 100%, as long as you do not use the rear one.
I am asking the guys who has worked on the 701 ABS sytems before, what have you done to it? Have you encountered this problem.
I have not Googled yet.
