Had to create a working XR for a client from two really beat up and tired plaas bikes, which was no mean feat ...cos the motors were virtually unusable ...broken pistons and so on, likewise..trashed shocks and forks...but he's a happy camper and  now for the fun...... what  to do with the left overs.
Well i mean were scraping the bottom of the barrel here........but fortunately the shed had supplies.
Pulled out a unused motor and tore it down...yup ..we can  maybe do ..somefing here for me and the boys to play with!!  Let the games begin.

And thats the end of the storey.
To finish up i will do the saddle bag ,heatshield on the header and the flashers, cos maybe well get it registered.
Lasty a big thanks to 'Grego" cos without his inspiring Encyclopaedia of XR building the junk would have ended up in the shed, to add to the piles that remain gathering dust, and to his kind help in aquiering parts in the Cape and the new plastic from USA . Cheers Grego yr a good mate!!
Enjoy!
