Good day,
A friend of mine has the opportunity to buy a 1989 XT 600 tenere.
As he comes from roadbikes and has limited budget I offered to help him with some info, knowing the wealth of info among fellow dawgs surrounding these matters.
I don't have to much info ,but know it has done some substantial touring with a fair amount of Km on the clocks.
I know there's not much to go on, but for those that know what are the pittfalls of these bikes?
parts availability? ,weakpoints? , things to look out for etc?
Is there maybe an expert in the cape that can lend a hand? maybe help check it out?
all/any info would be greatly appreciated.
