Before the Toy Run I gave my 950 Adv her first wash and then went to fill up the morning of the run. When I opened the filler caps I was mortified to find a pool of water in each of the recesses around the filling opening. I don't even know if any water actually got into the tank. I sat a still as I could and got the attendant to bring me half a roll of KC to soak up the surprise. Now I am very careful with the hose pipe when rinsing (keep the pressure washer for the KX)
Is this normal? And can you get rid of the water before opening the filler caps?

If there's nothing wrong with my Katoom, I'm amazed that the manual (and I read it front to back) doesn't make any mention of this?
