So the airfilter needed to be cleaned and reoilded (k&n aftermarket). Anyway the task proceed well and everything looked good. But when I came to reinstalling the breather hose that conects the two fuel tanks at the top ( I had removed the two brass fittings in order to remove the air fliter cover) I found that the nut inside the left tank had been pushed into the tank. I heard it fall in.
So the question is, Is the nut inside the tank a threat to the fuel pump? do I have to remove the tank and attempt to get it out (huge task)? And is it a problem having the breather hose simply pushed in on the left?
The bike starts and runs perfectly.
Any advise would be greatly apreciated.
