Over last week or two I’ve done quite a bit of work on my 990. Serviced and replaced fuel line.
Bike ran perfectly afterwards - took it for a 100km ride on Sunday. Noticed a leak on quick connector afterwards. Pulled apart again and replaced with solid connector.
Went for a ride again tonight. Bike feels fine but after a few minutes of riding engine starts to stutter under hard acceleration. Runs fine otherwise. Stop, switch ignition on and off and bike runs fine again for 5 or 10 minutes and then same symptoms.
Feels like fuel starvation. Common sense says it was something I did during work on the bike. Fuel line looks good with no leaks.
Any ideas??
Leaving on a shakedown ride to Swaziland this weekend so have to get sorted!!
