Race Dog
Washed the bike on Sunday and noticed I don't have any lights... checked the fuse (albeit the wrong one having 11 thumbs!) but short of it after taking to Trax in Silverlakes, Louis found that there is a short near the back light as well as one next to the headlight. Both globes in headlight also blown....
"What could cause something like this?"I asked. "Vibration"came the short answer. And I paid the 1/2 hour labor and replacement of both globes in headlight...expensive and unnecessary exercise I should think.
My question is this: isn't the 990S Adventure build for vibration and handling being ridden on dirt roads? How can an mechanically ignoramus like myself prevent future similar problems? Is this a general problem on all bikes or what?
Thanks.
